What I'm Thankful For
I don't know what I'm thankful for. I mean, obviously, I'm thankful for the big contenders: my health (sans liver function, but that's to be expected), my friends (however irksome they can become), and my family (same as the "friends" area). But I'm a deep person and would love to dive deeper into exactly what I'm thankful for. I mean, this to some extent may sound like I'm thankless-- which I'm totally not. It's just that, well, I'm exhausted and my brain is elsewhere in Shakespeareville. [And since we're on the subject, I am not thankful for Shakespeare--he can go die. And by that I mean come back to life and then die, again.] But I have to say, maybe I'm just thankful that I'm in a place in my life where I can get on a computer and bitch about this sort of thing? I mean given that is is what I call "Single's Suicide Awareness Month" (some may call it the holiday season), I'm overall thankful that my life is where it is. It's not perfect by any means, but let's be honest; I'd hate it if it were. I'm beginning to think that my life is just workable enough right now. I mean my hard work is now turning into potential, and this potential thing is showing is head. I'm also thankful for me--and I'm saying that to sound like a prick, but I've surprised myself (thus far) with that I'm actually capable of. Both what good I can do and what damage I can inflict. Am at 250 words yet? I think so.

I think it's important to be thankful for oneself, so I think your thanks giving is very appropriate! I have every confidence that your potential is going to show greatness in your very own classroom!
